Third-Generation Studio Potter Granddaughter of founder John O. Dodson

As a third generation potter, the mud is in her blood, creating a new definition of the word ‘mudblood’! Despite being surrounded by clay her whole life, pottery was never one of Cora’s past times. After graduating from Lenoir-Rhyne in 2020 and moving back home in the midst of a pandemic, Cora finally faced the music and bought into the family business. Now, after tapping into her inner creativity, Cora is following in her grandfather’s philosophy of making every piece different and appreciating the uniqueness that comes with working with ‘just dirt’.

Never without her sidekick, Cora and Mabel are often seen battling it out in contention of Employee of the Month.
