Claudette Johnson
Wildlife Artist
Painter & Woodburner

Claudette moved to the Asheville area in 2021 after finishing her Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Biology. She now is a part-time artist new to Mud Dabbers that is deeply inspired by the wildlife she works with on a daily basis. She specializes in wood burning and acrylic wood paintings but loves to experiment with other mediums and is known to have done a couple custom murals. Claudette uses her artwork to educate about our local wildlife, and with each piece, she includes a handwritten letter explaining the inspiration behind the artwork as well as some cool wildlife facts. She also donates 10% of her profits to wildlife conservation efforts.
