Christine Thomas was introduced to ceramics at a young age through her mother, a self-taught professional potter. Though Christine prefers handbuilding instead of throwing on the wheel, the love of clay was further cultivated at UNCA where she received her Bachelors in Fine Arts degree. She joined Muddabbers after searching for a creative environment to learn from professional ceramicists. Her work is inspired by nature and her imagination, in hopes to share her journey of self-discovery with others. These intuitive explorations in clay reveal that which is hidden within or gives a physical representation of that which is experienced on an internal level.
